A 400% improvement in what I asked his help addressing. 

The TLDR version of my experience with Jason Piper and Build Better Sleep is that through working with him and putting his plan in action, my REM sleep went from averaging less than 30 minutes per night to an average of over 2 hours in just two weeks time. A 400% improvement in what I asked his help addressing. 

The longer version is that I’ve never been great at sleep. That’s a weird thing to say because I kind of just assumed sleep came naturally and your body just did what it needed to do. I had 7 sleep studies, a deviated septum repair, a CPAP and multiple other things done to improve my sleep. I had taken all the leading supplements to sleep better but nothing worked all that well. My already not great sleep went to absolute garbage once quarantine’s happened with the recent pandemic. I went through my usual checklist to resolve it, less alcohol, more water, better food, more exercise, more time in bed, etc. Nothing worked. I was starting to have hallucinations and no ability to store memories long term.

I had my guard up a little bit as I’d worked with sleep consultants before and figured I’d get the same canned garbage that hadn’t worked. The questions he asked started similar but each one was taken in a new direction based on my answers. It was a real conversation with real specific advise for me and my issue. He didn’t just go down a checklist. He listened and then provided me with assignments to fix the issue. It worked so well it is simply remarkable. It’s hard to be a bigger believer in a person and a company than I am of Jason Piper and Build Better Sleep. If you are struggling with your sleep, reach out to him as soon as possible.

I have been able to go full weeks without napping.

I first started working with Jason in preparation for my upcoming Strongfirst Level 1 kettlebell certification. I was looking to improve my overall energy and allow my body to recover faster through his sleep coaching.

Jason helped me set small, realistic goals for my lifestyle that didn’t interfere with my daily routine, or ask me to change my entire life around. He looked where I was currently at and prioritized the things he felt would be most beneficial. I was able to make small adjustments around where I was at. I used to nap almost everyday and I some weeks I would struggle to get even 3 quality training sessions.

Since Jason from Build Better Sleep has started coaching me on my sleep habits, I have been able to go full weeks without napping and am able to average 4-6 QUALITY sessions a week. Since I have been able to ramp up the intensity in my workouts I am currently 6 weeks out from my certification and have exceeded the testing standards I need to pass my exam.

Emergency room physician assistant regains her energy and focus.

As a physician assistant in an emergency room, being alert and able to make the correct decisions is critical for me. I was working long shifts and was really stressed out, that when it came time to sleep I found it hard to calm down and fall asleep at night. I noticed over time that I had no energy during the day and it was really hard to stay focused.

After working with Jason from Build Better Sleep, together we were able to change some of the routines I had fallen into that were sabotaging my sleep and also introduce some new ideas to try.

My days are FULL to the brim: as the co-founder and chief marketing officer of a thriving business, mom to two young kids, wife, friend, daughter, and general over-achiever, sleep was very low on my priority list.
