As a physician assistant in an emergency room, being alert and able to make the correct decisions is critical for me. I was working long shifts and was really stressed out, that when it came time to sleep I found it hard to calm down and fall asleep at night. I noticed over time that I had no energy during the day and it was really hard to stay focused.
After working with Jason from Build Better Sleep, together we were able to change some of the routines I had fallen into that were sabotaging my sleep and also introduce some new ideas to try.
After about 3 weeks of sticking with the plan and allowing my body to adjust I am sleeping better, falling asleep easier, waking up with more energy and focus.
