A Canadian brewery and sleep tech company have joined forces to develop a hop infused pillow spray.
Cerebra and Farmery Estate Brewery are using leftover hops and infusing it with sage, frankincense, and lavender into a pillow spray.
Using Cerebra’s in home sleep analysis they tested the spray on 10 people that had sleep onset insomnia. They tested before and after using the spray and the results showed an improvement on falling asleep sooner than without the same.
This is an interesting use of hops. I would like to see a bigger study done using just the hops because lavender is known to help relax an individual before bed so I would like that variable removed to see if hops was responsible.
I am always on the look out for products that can help people improve their sleep.
