You are not alone
If you made it this far, you are probably frustrated with your sleep like the other 60% of America. You may be suffering from a racing mind, multiple wakeups, trouble falling asleep, or overall poor sleep quality. The good news is you can do something about your sleep. Perhaps you have tried a bunch of things and they worked for a bit or not at all. Could it be that you tried to fix the symptom instead of the cause?
Sleep is one of your primary drivers. Meaning your body will seek out sleep. If you are unable to get a good night’s sleep taking a pill to force yourself to sleep is not solving the reason why you are not falling asleep.
Working with Jason @ Build Better Sleep helped me to see that both my overall lack of sleep and severely un-synced circadian rhythm were actually major forces in my life- and neither one for good. Between overwhelm, anxiety, depression, and fluctuating weight my best life seemed to be slipping past my sleepy eyelids.Adela P – Entreprenuer and busy mom
Outcome vs Behavior Mentality
A majority of people go about trying to fix their sleep with an outcome based mentality. Simply put this means “I am going to try this thing and if I don’t sleep amazing then it is a failure and I am doomed to be without sleep for the rest of my life”. They are looking for a solution for their symptoms of low quality sleep instead of what is causing it. This is why many quick fixes work for a hot minute and then cease to work.
To give an example let’s use sleeping pills, a special tea blend, or meditating. You try these techniques without taking into context everything else going on around you and in you. None of these are going to work if you are pounding 500-600mg of caffeine every day or if your light nutrition is completely out of whack. You will find out what that means in the course.
The Sleep Solution
If you are wanting to achieve higher quality sleep and regain your energy, your zest for life, and your nights I challenge you to rebuild your sleep. Let’s strip it down to the studs like you are remodeling your kitchen. For all you know you might have the equivalent of your toilet being in the kitchen in regards to your sleep.
Rebuilding your sleep is not just doing a little thing here or there and having Mr. Sandman visits you. It takes work, consistency, and a willingness to change how you are doing things in your life if they are affecting your sleep. Because what I have found is many poor sleepers are self sabotaging their sleep in their day to day actions. This is great because you are not powerless. You can take control of your sleep. And this is how with these services:
